S U C C E S S

There are no shortcuts to success here.                No avoiding the hard work, the                                                                 years of training and ‘sadhna’ . No job security, no assurances and no  guarantees.                                          Classical dance, at the best of times, is definitely not a career for the faint-hearted.                                          But if you have the passion for it, talent and sublime belief in yourself, go ahead and                                              take a shot at it. As a career, dancing involves mainly five options; the role of a solo                                    performing artiste, teaching, setting up an institution, performing in a group or                                                               becoming a choreographer. Very few people concentrate exclusively on any one of                                             the above.
There is no tried and tested way of chalking out a career in this field. The money                              paid to the artiste per performance depends upon which level she has attained                                                       Senior performers who have ‘ MADE IT ‘ COULD EARN Rs. 40,000 or more per show. For those                   who have diplomas are preferred, especially when it comes teaching jobs. Private                                                 tuitions also provide an attractive source of money, Harikrishna , a student at                                                              Bhartiya Kala Kendra, has spent the last 12 years learning dance. He ears 300 Rs.to                                    500 Rs an hour while giving private tuitions. This is in addition to what he earns as a                                          dance teacher at a private institute.                                                                                                                                                        The above is an example of target oriented person those who wont to work hard as                       well as to achive the gole of the success. The person without target and without hard work  can                         not get success. Swami Vivekanand has given the right advise to the youths.
